Bulldog Pharmacy Camp DR0621109

Samford’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy will be hosting an overnight Bulldog Pharmacy Camp this summer for current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors from June 23 - 28, 2024. Campers will learn about careers in pharmacy through hands-on lab demonstrations and unique service projects. Participants will gain essential patient assessment skills and tour local healthcare facilities and pharmacies as well. This immersive experience is pivotal for future pharmacists and provides the launchpad needed to pursue a career in pharmacy.

“This is a phenomenal opportunity for those who want to learn more about this incredible profession,” said Michael Crouch, dean of the McWhorter School of Pharmacy. “Pharmacy and healthcare are ever evolving, and this camp, will also help attendees learn more about how a Samford Doctor of Pharmacy degree takes you further.”

The cost to attend this camp is $550, which includes room, meals, supplies and all camp activities for the entire week. Applications are due by March 15, and include a recommendation from a math or science teacher and a high school transcript. A limited number of scholarships will be available for the camp fees.
